The Family Systems link is a list server set up to provide a way for people to discuss family issues via e-mail. It is an informal e-mail discussion group (listserv) about family relationship issues. Everybody has them, whether it be spouse, children, parents, grandparents. As the late Edwin Friedman, author of "Generation to Generation," the authoritative resource upon which this discussion is based, says "Nobody gets the problem they can handle." Helpful and provocative comments are provided by Jack Shitama, who has studied and taught about the Family Systems approach for over a decade.
