A modern day prayer chain!

A huge benefit of being a part of a fellowship of believers is the support we receive through the prayer and actions of our church community. PrayerExpress is a list server that has been created to get prayer requests out to those of us in our church community that communicate largely through email. Prayer chains have served the function of informing the church of the needs of its community members for years but as we've become a more mobile society we find ourselves relying more and more on email to communicate. The home phone for many of us just isn't as reliable of a tool as it once was. We are not there to get the message and then the "chain" is broken or at the very least the message is delayed. PrayerExpress is a contemporary answer to the limits of the good old Methodist prayer chain.

Here's how it works. People who would like to receive prayer requests through PrayerExpress "subscribe" by sending an email to PrayerExpress requesting subscription. Please include your name. If you are not known to the Trinity and Town Point communities, please include how you came to know about this prayer page.  Once a subscriber is placed on the list, not only will they receive prayer requests via email, they may also send out requests to those on the list at anytime. With the sending of a single email, every subscriber on the list will be informed.

The prayer requests broadcast on the list server need not originate solely from subscribers. Anyone with a prayer request may submit the prayer for distribution by emailing the request to PrayerExpress. This request will promptly go out to all those "Pray-ers" that are part of PrayerExpress. If you would like to have your PrayerExpress prayer request printed in the church bulletin prayer list, please indicate so in your email. Only those concerns specifically requesting inclusion in the church bulletin will be printed.

Whether subscribing or sending a request by emailing the moderator at PrayerExpress, please include your name as we seek to protect the integrity of the information being broadcast.

This prayer chain is provided primarily for the prayer support of our local churches, however we recognize the power of prayer and welcome all those in need. The moderator does reserve the right to deny access if it is felt that the request is not a valid request for prayer support.
