Directions to Town Point UMC

Town Point UMC is about half way between Chesapeake City and Cecilton off Rt 213.  Going either north or south on Rt 213, at the intersection of Town Point/Cayots Corner Rd. (also known as Rt 310) and Rt 213 turn west onto Town Point Rd. Keep left at the fork with Shortcut Rd. Continue past the fields, through a "tunnel" of trees, and then look for Port Herman Rd and turn right. The church is on the left about a half mile down the road.

Traveling North on Rt 213, turn left at the intersection of Rt 310/Town Point Rd and Rt 213. Follow the above directions once on Town Point Rd.

Traveling from Middletown DE. head west on Churchtown Rd. ( intersection of Rt 301 and Rt 896) Once the road enters Maryland it becomes Rt 310/Cayouts Corner Road. After going straight across Rt 213, the road becomes Town Point Rd,  bear left at the fork with Shortcut Rd. and follow directions above.

Trinity UMC is in historic Chesapeake city. From the major intersection of  Rt 40 and Rt 213, take Rt 213 south to the bridge over the C&D Canal. Cross the bridge and immediately ramp right at the bottom of the bridge. Turn right at the stop sign and cross under the bridge. Turn left at the stop sign onto George St. Coming from the south, bear right at the bridge approach and proceed into town on George Street. The church will be two blocks down, on the right, on the corner of 3rd Street between George St. and Bohemia Ave. You may park on the street or in the school parking lot which is on 3rd Street, about one block west of the church. Instead of turning right onto 3rd Street towards the church, turn left to park at the school. 

From Middletown DE 
Southbound on 301 - just south of Summit Bridge turn right on Rt 15, bear right onto Rt 286 and follow into Chesapeake City. Turn left on George St. At the next intersection (3d and George) the church will be on the left on 3rd St. between George St. and Bohemia Ave.
Northbound on 301 - Turn left at Churchtown Rd. (intersection of 301 and 896). Turn right on Rt 15 and then left onto Rt. 286. Follow the above directions into Chesapeake City.
